And they said it wouldn’t last. Actually, it might have been me that said it wouldn’t last. At any rate, through my eyes is celebrating its 365th day of existence as a photoblog. I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I started this journey 1 year ago today but I am glad I took the chance. I believe that starting this blog was the single best thing I have done in my life as it relates to photography. This blog has given me a reason to get out and shoot at times when it would be just as easy to turn the television on an practice my couch potato skills. I know that the web doesn’t offer the best representation of a photographic image like an actual print would. However, it is the best place to reach people that would otherwise never get to come into contact with my work.

Today begins what I hope is another successful year of photography and blogging. I hope to take my work to new heights in the coming 365 days and I want to share that growth with you. Thanks to all those of you that continue to support my efforts by simply stopping by to see what I am up to. A special thanks goes out to those of you that take the time to leave comments to let me know what you think. And finally, an extra special thanks goes out to those fellow photographers and bloggers that have promoted my blog via their blogroll. It means a lot to me that there are people out there that think enough of what I do to tell their readers/viewers that they should check it out. I sincerely appreciate your interest in what I am doing photographically.
