Photo: Outside Looking In – Nashville, Tennessee

As I make a temporary departure from the new “This is Nashville” project, here is a photo and a quote for your viewing and reading pleasure.

Quote for the day:

Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again. -Henri Cartier-Bresson

Boy do I know how true that statement is. There have been numerous times that I have seen something and said to myself, “I should take a picture of that someday” only to see the subject vanish never to be seen or photographed again. This is why we as photographers should not hesitate. However, some of us still do don’t we. :)

  1. Very nice! I’m jealous you got to go in there and shoot. Those types of locations are hard to come by where I’m at.

  2. This is one of my favorites on your blog. Excellent.
