I thought I would take this opportunity to try out a new look for my blog. It was probably time for a refresh now that this blog is about 6 months old. I will live with the new look for a few days to be sure I like it. It looks like I can post larger photos with this layout so that is certainly a plus. I will do dome experimenting with creating a custom header image to put my personal touch on things. Thanks again for your support of my blog.

  1. Nice geometry in this composition — very pleasing mix of horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines. And the “Barber” font is the icing on the cake. Well done. – JR

  2. Thanks for the kind words Joe. That means a lot coming from someone as talented as you.

  3. I Like your new theme, it suits your style and looks a bit more welcoming than the old one, which incidentally I dropped recently too.

Glad your keeping up the photo blogging.

(oh and the picture has a very odd effect in it, the satellite dish seems to have a “man in the moon” style face in it!)

  4. Thanks for the compliment J.C. Yeah, I felt that the old theme had run its course. It was time for a change.

You know, I had not noticed the “man in the moon” face in the dish until you pointed it out but it is certainly there.

  5. The new theme seems to fit the blog pretty well. I haven’t been on wordpress much lately, but the pictures are excellent as always. Take care. – Sean
