As promised, here is an image from my recent trip to West Tennessee.  As I mentioned before leaving, I had high hopes that this trip would produce some good images.  Lately, I have been trying to post only new images to my blog as a way to keep me motivated creatively.  I was running low on fresh work so I really needed to get some quality shots on this trip.

The thing about expectations is that they can lead to disappointment if you are not careful.  I was headed into an area of Tennessee that I had not been to before.  Going into an unfamiliar area often provides me with a burst of creativity.  However, when I am rushed for time as I often am when on these weekend trips, I do not get to do much “homework” and scouting of the location so it is quite possible that I could come up dry.  I was afraid that this might turn into such a trip.  However, once I relaxed, I was able to start to become more aware of my surroundings and the images started to flow.  In the coming days, I will continue to share the harvest of images from the trip.  I hope you enjoy them and I would like to thank you for your continued support of my blog.
