Quote for the day:

It fascinates me that there is a variety of feeling about what I do. I’m not a premeditative photographer. I see a picture and I make it. If I had a chance, I’d be out shooting all the time. You don’t have to go looking for pictures. The material is generous. You go out and the pictures are staring at you. -Lee Friedlander, “Documentary Photography – LIFE Library of Photography” , page: 178

  1. You have posted a lot of interesting images this month Darrell. I like this one, but my favourite has been “Door to Door – Humboldt, TN”. You have a knack of photographing your subjects, but also including datails that tell us more about their environment too.

  2. Thanks for the kind words Colin. The image you mention is on of my recent favorites as well. I appreciate you and everyone else that checks in to see what I am currently working on. That is what keeps me going.

  3. This one is awesome. It’s kinda funny how the third letter in both happens to be missing.

    Great shot.
