Is it just me or do you think there might be some danger lurking behind this fence?  :)

In a previous post on this blog titled Why did I stop, I talked about what makes me stop to take a photograph.  Today, dearj left a comment on that post and posted more thoughts on this subject on his blog.  I thought you might find his perspective interesting so I decided to share.

In particular, I agree with the part of the post where Mike talks about stripping away everything that does not tell the story.  For me, I think it is the fact that I see a story to be told that makes me stop to take a photograph.  Once I have stopped, I try to figure out the best way to tell the story that caught my attention.  It is when I am able to do this that I feel like I have been successful.

  1. Thanks again for the question leading to the discussion — I’m not growing if I’m not learning, every day, all day. Cheers.

  2. Man, this is one of my favorites (I know, I say that a lot…but it’s true) You really are in a groove right now….can’t wait to see what the summer offers you.
